Blackjack
Your Blackjack kit contains a baize cloth approximately 51"x 79". The playing surface area is approximately 30"x 63". This will give you a generous surrounding border to the playing area where members place their fun money notes - NOT their drinks. Your evening will he ruined if a drink is spilled and the baize is wet.

See the recommended layout in the rules section, which places your Croupier ready to deal the cards to the members from the 'card shoe' in front of them. The baize will have 7 or 9 boxes - these boxes are for the players cards; one box per player.
You're ready to play - it's as simple as that.

Handy Hints:

Use only fun money notes for Blackjack - this releases all the chips for the Roulette tables. There is a 3-2 (i.e. one and a half to one) payout with some blackjack, tables. Where a player has bet £l only and wins, the croupier should either keep a tab of the 'halves' owed, or tear the relevant, £l note in half and give it to the player. These can be exchanged at the Bank for one complete note later.

Roulette
Your Roulette kit contains a baize cloth approximately 52"x 118". The playing surface area is approximately 32"x 77", This will give you a generous surrounding border to the playing area where members place their chips - NOT their drinks. Your evening will be ruined if a drink is spilled and the baize is wet.

The recommended layout places the roulette wheel at the head of the table above the zero. The croupier stands by the roulette wheel and you're ready to play.

Handy hints:

Don't let players smoke or drink at the table - it inconveniences others. Your club will be liable for any damaged equipment or baizes. Don't put too many chairs round the tables (use low stools if possible) and you'll get more players standing up.

Only use chips (not funny money) for roulette. In case of any mistaken identity over winning chips that have been bet on the tables (this can occur even in the most famous casinos) the croupier or casino manager must take control. We suggest they split the winnings between the two parties concerned - remember it's just for fun.
